Support and Troubleshooting Protocol

To provide high-quality support, administrators often need to see exactly what the user sees. BoostonCP includes a secure Impersonation Tool for this purpose.

Step 1: Establishing the Support Link

  1. Navigate to the User Ledger.
  2. Find the target user and click the "Login" (User-Plus) Icon.
  3. BoostonCP will establish a temporary session and redirect you directly to that user's private dashboard.

Step 2: Conducting the Audit

While impersonating, you have full access to the user's File Manager, Databases, and Email settings. This allows you to:

  • Fix broken application configurations.
  • Debug database connection issues.
  • Verify SSL certificate installations from the user perspective.

Step 3: Terminating the Impersonation

To return to the Admin Panel, simply click the "Exit Support Session" button in the top header. Your administrative session will be restored instantly.

SECURITY AUDIT: Every impersonation attempt is logged in the Task Logs. This ensures that administrative access to user data is always traceable and auditable.
