Advanced Interaction Techniques

BoostonCP supports desktop-level interactions. Follow this manual to master high-speed file manipulation.

Step 1: Keyboard Shortcuts Protocol

Use these shortcuts inside the file grid for rapid management:

  • Ctrl + A: Select all items in the current view.
  • Ctrl + C / Ctrl + V: Copy and Paste items.
  • Ctrl + X / Ctrl + V: Cut and Move items.
  • Delete Key: Move selected items to the Recycle Bin.

Step 2: Universal Drag-to-Upload

  1. Open the folder where you want to upload data.
  2. Drag files from your computer's desktop or file explorer.
  3. Drop them anywhere on the BoostonCP File Manager window.
  4. The Premium Upload Engine will automatically launch and begin the transmission.

Step 3: Visual Relocation (Drag & Drop Move)

  1. Select the files you wish to move.
  2. Click and hold the selected items.
  3. Drag them onto a folder in the main list or onto a folder in the Sidebar Tree.
  4. Release the mouse button to initiate the move protocol.
RECOVERY NOTE: If you accidentally move a file, you can use Ctrl + Z (Undo) or check the destination folder to drag it back.
