Mastering Database Transmissions

Moving your data between environments requires fast and reliable tools. BoostonCP provides a built-in neural engine for high-speed SQL transmissions.

Step 1: Exporting Your Data

  1. Locate your database in the ledger.
  2. Click the "Export" link in the Backup column.
  3. BoostonCP will instantly stream an .sql snapshot directly to your browser.

Step 2: Importing Data (High-Speed Engine)

  1. Click the "Import" link for your target database.
  2. Upload from Local: Select your .sql or .sql.gz file from your computer.
  3. Wait for the Neural Progress Bar to reach 100%.
  4. Once uploaded, click "RESTORE NOW" next to the file in the backup vault to inject the data into your database.

Step 3: Auditing the Backup Vault

The import modal also serves as your Private Backup Vault. You can see all uploaded SQL files, their sizes, and timestamps. Use the "Purge File" option to reclaim storage space once your restoration is complete.

CRITICAL WARNING: Importing a database will permanently overwrite all existing tables and data in the target database. Always perform an export before initiating a restore.
