Providing Data for Rapid Diagnostics
To fix a bug, our engineers need to see your system environment. BoostonCP can automatically bundle and transmit technical telemetry with your report.
Step 1: Enabling Auto-Diagnostic Logs
In the Bug Report modal, ensure the "Attach System Environment" checkbox is active. This will collect:
- Operating System version (e.g., Ubuntu 22.04 LTS).
- Booston-Core binary version.
- Active PHP and Webserver versions.
Step 2: Attaching Specific Logs
If the error is related to a specific module, use the "Select Log Source" dropdown to attach:
- Webserver Logs: If a site is displaying 502/504 errors.
- Task Logs: If a migration or backup failed.
- Security Logs: If you suspect a firewall or malware scanner glitch.
Step 3: Neural Sanitization
BoostonCP automatically sanitizes your logs before transmission, removing sensitive data like database passwords or private keys. You can review the sanitized payload before clicking send.
SECURITY NOTE: Never manually paste raw private keys or plain-text passwords into the bug report description. Use the automated telemetry tool instead.
