How to Setup Set-and-Forget Security Audits

Ensuring 24/7 protection requires automated scanning cycles. Follow this manual to establish a security schedule for your node.

Step 1: Establish a Scan Schedule

  1. Navigate to the "Schedules" tab.
  2. Click "New Schedule".
  3. Frequency: Choose between Daily (Recommended for high-traffic servers) or Weekly.
  4. Execution Type: Select "Full System Scan" for total protection.

Step 2: Monitoring the Security Pulse

The Security Pulse widget on the main Dashboard monitors your active scanner schedules. If a scheduled scan detects a critical threat, an automated alert will be transmitted to the Admin Email defined in Settings.

Step 3: Auditing Scan History

View the "Scan Logs" to see a historical record of every automated audit. This includes timestamps, duration of the scan, and the total number of threats neutralized during the cycle.

ADMIN STRATEGY: We recommend scheduling your Full System Scans during off-peak hours (e.g., 3:00 AM) to minimize the impact on server CPU usage.
