How to Resolve Delivery Issues

If you are experiencing issues sending or receiving emails, follow this diagnostic manual to identify and fix the problem.

Step 1: Perform a DNS Health Check

  2. Monitor the terminal output for messages like "Connection refused" or "Rejected by recipient."
  3. Use these logs to identify if your IP is blacklisted or if there is a syntax error in your configuration.

Step 3: Managing the Mail Queue

If emails are stuck and not being delivered:

  1. Check the Mail Queue counter.
  2. If the volume is high, click "Flush Queue" to force an immediate transmission attempt.
  3. If the queue contains spam, use "Clear All" to permanently delete the pending messages.
CRITICAL AUDIT: If your Mail Queue suddenly spikes to thousands of messages, one of your accounts may be compromised. Clear the queue and reset all email passwords immediately.
