How to Safely Remove Web Environments

Follow this manual to permanently remove a domain and its associated configurations from your BoostonCP account.

Step 1: Initialize Deletion Protocol

  1. Locate the target domain in the Domain Ledger.
  2. Click the Trash (Delete) Icon.

Step 2: Defining Cleanup Scope

A safety modal will appear with the following options:

  • Remove VHost Config: (Mandatory) Deletes the webserver routing rules.
  • Delete Files: (Optional) Check this box to permanently erase the document root directory and all its contents.

Step 3: Confirming the Wipe

Click "Permanently Delete". The system will perform a neural wipe of the configuration and reload the web server. WARNING: This action cannot be reversed once the files are deleted.

CRITICAL NOTE: Deleting a domain does NOT automatically delete its associated MySQL databases. You must remove those separately in the Databases module.
