How to Track Your Resource Usage and History

BoostonCP provides real-time telemetry widgets on the right side of the dashboard. Follow this manual to monitor your account health.

Step 1: The Resource Widget

Monitor your consumption against the limits defined in your package tier:

  • Disk Usage: Shows how much storage your files and databases are consuming.
  • Inode Count: Tracks the total number of files and folders established.
  • Bandwidth: Visualizes the data transmission volume for the current month.

Step 2: Hosting Identity Matrix

The Hosting Info widget provides critical server-level data:

  • Server IP: The IPv4/IPv6 address assigned to your node.
  • Server Name: The hostname of the BoostonCP infrastructure.
  • Home Path: Your absolute directory path on the server (e.g., /www/wwwroot/username).

Step 3: Auditing Recent Activity

The Recent Activity feed logs every action performed on your account. Review this periodically to ensure no unauthorized changes have been made. It includes login timestamps, password rotations, and domain modifications.

SECURITY NOTE: If you see a login from an unrecognized IP address in your Activity Feed, change your account password and enable 2FA immediately.
