How to Navigate the BoostonCP File System

The File Manager is your gateway to the server's storage. Follow this manual to learn how to navigate efficiently through thousands of files.

Step 1: Using the Sidebar Tree

  1. On the left side of the screen, you will see the Interactive Folder Tree.
  2. Click the Arrow Icon next to any folder name to expand its sub-directories without reloading the main list.
  3. Click on the folder name itself to load its contents into the main data grid.

Step 2: Dynamic Path Navigation (Breadcrumbs)

At the top of the grid, the Breadcrumb Bar shows your exact location (e.g., root / var / www). Click on any parent segment to jump back to that directory instantly.

Step 3: Real-Time Telemetry & Search

  • Monitoring Storage: Check the "Storage Status" card in the sidebar to see your disk usage percentage.
  • Fast Filtering: Use the Search Bar at the top right to find any file in the current directory. The grid filters instantly as you type.
MANUAL TIP: Click the "Refresh" button next to the search bar to synchronize the file list if you have recently performed operations in the SSH Terminal.
