How to Setup "Set and Forget" Protection

Follow this manual to establish automated backup cycles that run without administrative intervention.

Step 1: Establish a Schedule

  1. Navigate to the Schedules tab and click "Add Schedule".
  2. Frequency: Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  3. Target: Define what data should be backed up (e.g., All User Accounts).
  4. Route: Select the primary storage destination.

Step 2: Configuring Retention (Pruning)

To ensure your storage does not overflow, set a Retention Limit (e.g., 7 Snapshots). The system will automatically delete the oldest backup every time a new one is successfully established.

Step 3: Monitoring Upcoming Transmissions

Check the Next Execution column in the schedule ledger. It displays a real-time countdown. If a schedule fails, the status will turn RED, and an alert will be transmitted to the admin log.
