How to Provision New Client Environments

User accounts in BoostonCP provide isolated environments for web hosting. Follow this manual to establish a new system user and assign their resource limits.

Step 1: Open the User Portal

Navigate to User Management in the Admin Panel sidebar and click the "Add New User" button.

Step 2: Define User Identity & Package

  1. Username: Choose a unique designation (e.g., client_01).
  2. Email Address: Provide the user's primary contact email.
  3. Package Assignment: Select a pre-configured Package (e.g., Starter, Pro, Business). This automatically defines the user's CPU, RAM, and Disk limits.
  4. Secure Key: Use the "Generate" button to create a strong neural password for the account.

Step 3: Initializing the Environment

Click "Create User". The Booston-Core engine will now:

  • Create a Linux system user with isolated permissions.
  • Establish the user's /www/wwwroot/username directory.
  • Set up the user's private database metadata files.
MANUAL TIP: You can provide the generated username and password to your client so they can log in via the User Panel (Port 2083).
