How to Protect and Restore Your Website Assets

BoostonCP provides a powerful backup engine. Follow this manual to generate snapshots and establish remote storage links.

Step 1: Generating an Instant Backup

  1. Navigate to Data Backups from your User Dashboard.
  2. Click the "Create Instant Backup" button.
  3. The neural engine will compress your files and databases into a single archive. Monitor the progress bar until it hits 100%.

Step 2: Connecting Your Private Storage (Google Drive/FTP)

To ensure your data is safe even if the server fails, connect your own private vault:

  1. Go to the "Storage Hub" tab.
  2. Select Google Drive (OAuth) or Remote FTP.
  3. Provide your credentials and click "Establish Link".

Step 3: Restoring from a Snapshot

  1. In the Snapshots Ledger, find the backup you want to restore.
  2. Click the "Restore" (Cloud) Icon.
  3. Confirm the restoration. BoostonCP will automatically overwrite your current files with the clean data from the archive.
RECOVERY TIP: You can also download your backups directly to your local computer using the "Download" icon for offline storage.
