How to Setup IMAP, SMTP, and POP3

Follow this manual to connect your BoostonCP mailboxes to external applications like Outlook, Gmail app, or Apple Mail.

Step 1: Retrieve Connectivity Telemetry

  1. Navigate to the "Configuration" tab in the Email module.
  2. Note the Server Hostname, Ports, and Security Protocol.

Step 2: Entering Settings in Your Client

Use the following parameters for a secure encrypted uplink:

  • Incoming (IMAP): Use Port 993 with SSL/TLS.
  • Outgoing (SMTP): Use Port 465 with SSL/TLS.
  • Username: Your full email address (e.g., [email protected]).
  • Authentication: Ensure "Outgoing server requires authentication" is enabled.

Step 3: Verifying Neural Core Identity

Check the Neural Core Identity Status card. If the "SSL Link" shows a green checkmark, your server hostname is secure and compatible with all modern email clients.

MANUAL NOTE: Always use the System Hostname provided in the panel instead of your domain name to avoid SSL certificate mismatch warnings.
