Centralized Intelligence & Infrastructure Monitoring

The BoostonCP Admin Dashboard is the central neural hub of your server infrastructure. It provides real-time telemetry, resource analytics, and a bird's-eye view of all hosted services. This guide details every component of the dashboard to help you master your server management.

1. Top Statistics Matrix

At the top of the interface, you will find five glossy interactive cards providing instant account-wide metrics:

  • Websites: Displays the total number of domains and virtual hosts currently active on the node.
  • Databases: Shows the count of all MySQL/MariaDB databases established within the system.
  • Email Accounts: Monitors the total number of mailbox identities created across all domains.
  • System Users: Tracks the number of individual user accounts (clients) hosted on this server.
  • Malware Scanner Status: Provides a live security heartbeat. It shows if the scanner is active and lists the total number of files currently held in Quarantine.

2. Real-Time Performance Analytics

BoostonCP uses a dynamic visualization layer to monitor server health. The dashboard features three circular "Neural Gauges" representing core resources:

A. CPU Performance

Displays the current processing load. The gauge features a dynamic Blue Glow that intensifies as the processor usage increases. It helps you identify spikes in server load immediately.

B. Memory Analytics (RAM)

Calculates the physical memory usage in real-time. A Purple Glow indicates the pressure on your RAM. This is critical for ensuring that high-traffic applications have enough overhead.

C. Storage Status (Disk)

Indices your file system to show total used vs. available space. An Orange Glow provides a visual warning as your SSD/HDD approaches maximum capacity.

3. Live Network & Disk I/O Monitors

For advanced system administrators, BoostonCP provides low-level traffic and input/output analysis:

Network Traffic (Uplink/Downlink)

  • Live Waveform Chart: Visualizes the data flow through your network interface.
  • Speed Telemetry: Shows precise Download (RX) and Upload (TX) speeds in KB/s.
  • Data Totals: Displays the cumulative data transmitted during the current uptime cycle.

Disk I/O (Input/Output Operations)

  • Read/Write Speeds: Monitors how fast data is being written to or read from the storage disks.
  • TPS (Transactions Per Second): A critical metric for database-heavy servers, showing the number of I/O requests per second.
  • IO Wait: Shows the latency (in milliseconds) the CPU spends waiting for disk operations to complete. High IO Wait indicates a slow disk or excessive load.

4. Activity Stream & System Services

The bottom panel of the dashboard is dedicated to operational transparency:

Recent Activities

A live stream of the latest system logs. It records every administrative action, script execution, and user operation. This is your primary tool for auditing and troubleshooting recent changes.

System Services Heartbeat

Shows the real-time status of the core modules that power BoostonCP:

  • Nginx/Apache: The web server engine status.
  • PHP-FPM: The backend processing engine.
  • MySQL/MariaDB: The database service status.
  • Exim/Dovecot: The mail infrastructure status.

A Green Dot indicates the service is running perfectly, while a Red Dot signals a stopped service requiring immediate attention.

5. Visualization Preferences

The BoostonCP Admin Panel supports a high-contrast Dark Mode (default for the Neural interface) and a clean Light Mode. You can toggle these using the theme selector in the header. The Light Mode is optimized for visibility in bright environments, featuring enhanced borders and adjusted color palettes for graphs.

PRO TIP: You can click on the "Explore History" link in the Recent Activities panel to access the full Task Log Archive for deep auditing.
